Easingwold Osteopaths has become well known in the area for professional, friendly care. We pride ourselves in offering personalised, patient centred care. Our practitioners work together as a team in order to get the best outcome for the individual- that may mean an in-house referral to another practitioner. We also have an excellent working relationship with our local GP's and work closely with them if we think that your case is not appropriate for our care.
We are easy to find in the Market Place in Easingwold at Commercial House. The clinic is tucked in between the Commercial Inn and the Library at the bottom of Tanpit Lane.
COVID-19 UPDATE JANUARY 2021
England is currently in a national lockdown.
The Government and Public Health England have made it clear that people should continue to access their community-level medical services. Osteopathy and other complementary healthcare services are included in these ‘medical services’. As such, the clinic is remaining open.
We have been advised by the Institute of Osteopathy that as Allied Health Professionals, we have an important role to play in supporting our local communities as they have to work to care for increasing numbers of Covid cases.
We have been open since June 2020 under strict protocols on our face-to-face consultations and we have adapted to our ‘new normal’ of infection control, these include:
Increased deep cleaning
All clinical staff wearing full PPE: Apron, Mask & Gloves
Patients and admin staff wearing face coverings (medical grade masks available FOC to patients)
The treatment room will be cleaned between treatments and ventilated at every break
Offering vulnerable patients first appointment of the session in order to deep clean before they attend.
All these reduce the risk of infection for patients, practitioners, and our support staff.
We are very mindful that the risk of infection is still very real in the Hambleton and North Yorkshire area, so our priority will be in keeping our patients safe, as well as healthy.
Take Care and Stay Safe

Above all else, Osteopaths treat the person not the condition. And although Osteopaths are best known for it, we don't just treat backs! During a consultation and examination, all areas of symptoms are taken into account, and the osteopath works with structural imbalances that are present in the body to restore a state of physical balance. Patients often report improvement in many areas of their health, not just the symptomatic area.
Osteopathy is best known for the treatment in the following areas:
