Easingwold Osteopaths has become well known in the area for professional, friendly care. We pride ourselves in offering personalised, patient centred care. Our practitioners work together as a team in order to get the best outcome for the individual- that may mean an in-house referral to another practitioner. We also have an excellent working relationship with our local GP's and work closely with them if we think that your case is not appropriate for our care.
We are easy to find in the Market Place, at Commercial House. The clinic is tucked in between the Commercial Inn and the Library at the bottom of Tanpit Lane.
We are pleased to announce that we will be re-opening Monday 1st June. Our decision to re-open is in line with England's gradual loosening of social movement as well as a clear encouragement by NHS England for the rollback of community-level services. We have also been advised by the Institute of Osteopathy that there is a need for the return of private healthcare services to support local communities after eight long weeks of limited activity and staying at home.
To book an appointment please email us. Please be aware that we are having to space appointments in order to clean and change PPE so availability is limited.
We have been issued new guidance on face-to-face consultations, which sets out a sequence of patient and practitioner protocols to maximise safe practice and reduce risk of infection for patients, practitioners and our support staff. Here's what to expect.
- Patients will receive a phone call on the morning of their appointment from their practitioner. This will include a series of triage questions to screen for Covid-19 as well as their consultation to reduce face-to-face time.
- On arrival patients will be asked to wash hands and sign a consent form for treatment.
- Patients will be asked to wear masks. These will be provided by Easingwold Osteopaths on their arrival.
- Practitioners will be wearing gloves, masks and aprons.
- The treatment rooms and reception will be cleaned and ventilated between appointments for 30 minutes. This will also reduce crowding in the reception area during payment and booking as we will not be doing back-to-back appointments.
If you would like to book an appointment please email us. As we are not doing back-to-back appointments the appointment spaces are limited. If you would prefer to call, please leave a voicemail. We can pick up voicemails remotely from home whilst the clinic is still closed.
We look forward to seeing you soon . From everyone at the Easingwold Osteopaths team.
Please see the Northallerton Osteopaths Facebook page for advice and exercise videos to keep you active and healthy during this challenging time.

Above all else, Osteopaths treat the person not the condition. And although Osteopaths are best known for it, we don't just treat backs! During a consultation and examination, all areas of symptoms are taken into account, and the osteopath works with structural imbalances that are present in the body to restore a state of physical balance. Patients often report improvement in many areas of their health, not just the symptomatic area.
Osteopathy is best known for the treatment in the following areas:
